Bendigo Senior Secondary College
Focus: To create an environment in which Koori kids felt welcome, valued and encouraged and to engage the wider community in cultural awareness and appreciation.

NORTHERN TERRITORY
Gray Primary School, Palmerston
Focus: Improving literacy for Indigenous students. Increasing cross-cultural awareness. Effective behaviour-management. Maintaining strong sense of community

WESTERN AUSTRALIA
Katanning Senior High School
Focus: Improved Indigenous student outcomes and community involvement. School based traineeships. Improved attendance rates. Aboriginal employment initiatives.

Swan View Senior High School
Focus: Multiple performance opportunities. Affirmation of Indigenous culture & community involvement. VET initiatives

NEW SOUTH WALES
Queanbeyan South Public School
Focus: Improving engagement and outcomes for Indigenous students. Increased self-esteem. Increased cultural awareness.

SOUTH AUSTRALIA
Raukkan Aboriginal School
Focus: Scaffolded literacy program. Improved reading / writing. Improved numeracy.

ANZAC Hill High School

  • A secondary government school located in Alice Springs
  • There are 105 Indigenous students from a total of 300 students
  • Programs focused on improving literacy, numeracy and work readiness.

Barunga Community Education Centre

  • A primary and secondary government school located in Katherine, NT
  • There are 73 Indigenous students making up the total student population
  • Programs have focused on achieving improved retention rates, attendance rates, supporting the local language, developing strong community partnerships and improved literacy and numeracy

Charles Darwin University Senior Secondary

  • There are 45 Indigenous students from a total of 300 students
  • Programs have focused on the retention and success of Students achieving their NTCE

Application focus: Retention and success of Indigenous NTCE students

Kalkaringi Community Education Centre

  • A government primary and secondary school located near Katherine, NT
  • There are 120 Indigenous students making up the total student population
  • The school has focused on providing an extended secondary school curriculum and opportunities to access it

Application focus: Provision of extended secondary schooling curriculum/opportunities.

Wanguri Primary School

  • A government primary school located in Casuarina, NT
  • There are 70 Indigenous students from a total of 265 students
  • The school has focused on increasing knowledge of Indigenous culture, improving attendance rates and supporting the individual literacy and numeracy programs for the students}1Application focus: Increase knowledge of Indigenous culture. WESTERN AUSTRALIA
Carnarvon Senior High School

  • A government secondary school located in Regional WA
  • There are 102 Indigenous students from a total of 250 students
  • The school has focused on programs that provide increased student engagement, retention, job training skills and enterprise education

SOUTH AUSTRALIA
Ceduna Area School

  • A government primary and secondary school located in Regional SA.
  • There are 97 Indigenous students from a total of 475 students
  • The school has focused on programs to improve student outcomes through school tutoring, boys only programs and a Pitjantjatjara language games program

Maitland Area School

  • A government primary and secondary school located in Regional SA
  • There are 42 Indigenous students from a total of 364 students
  • The school has achieved improvements in literacy, numeracy, cultural awareness, attendance, links with the community and the introduction of the Narungga language

St Paul's College

  • A primary and secondary Catholic school located in metropolitan Adelaide
  • There are 700 students at the school with 8 Indigenous students
  • Programs have achieved improved literacy and numeracy, individual case management, participation in the community and true reconciliation

Woodville High School

  • A secondary government school located in metropolitan Adelaide
  • There are 57 Indigenous students from a total of 678 students
  • The school has achieved improved attendance, retention rates, levels of literacy and students graduating with the SACE

QUEENSLAND

Cunnamulla State School

  • A government primary and secondary school located in regional Queensland
  • There are 179 Indigenous students from a total of 232 students
  • The school has achieved improved confidence, retention and student outcomes for their students

Shalom Christian College

  • An Independent primary and secondary school located in Condon, regional Queensland
  • There are 335 Indigenous students making up the total school population
  • The school has achieved improved literacy and numeracy for their students, offered an extended curriculum, focused on attendance and retention of students, and built community-school relationships

Slade Point State School

  • A government primary school located in regional Queensland
  • There are 89 Indigenous students from a total of 303 students
  • The school has achieved improved literacy and numeracy as well as school- community partnerships

Narrabri Public School

  • A government primary school located in regional New South Wales
  • There are 75 Indigenous students from a total of 333 students
  • The school has focused on providing in-class tuition and speech therapy

  • A secondary government school located in metropolitan Sydney
  • There are 23 Indigenous students from a total of 1083
  • The school has achieved improved engagement and attendance for students and provides an art and cultural program

  • A secondary government school located in regional NSW near Coffs Harbour
  • There are 57 Indigenous students from a total of 1079 students
  • The school has focused on literacy, numeracy, managing transition, attendance, retention, student leadership, nutrition, sports and careers. The school has also included Aboriginal studies and Indigenous perspectives in the curriculum
